Is tuition assistance available?
Yes. Immaculate Conception School is committed to making sure Catholic education is available to all students who desire it. Confidential tuition assistance is available to qualifying families. The State of Iowa offers a tuition tax credit of up to $250 per child. Our SCRIP program allows families to earn tuition credit by using gift cards for groceries, gas, and other everyday purchases.
Educational Savings Accounts (ESA's) are made possible through the State of Iowa and were passed into law in 2023. These allow for parents that choose to enroll their child in an accredited Nonpublic School, to receive funding comparable to that distributed to Public School in that budgeted year. The 2024-2025 school year the ESA amount is $7,826. Applications are yearly for the ESA and have a hard deadline of June 30 each year.
Student Tuition Organization (STO) is the Archdiocese fundraising effort to support families that want a Catholic education for their child. Families that fall at our below the 400% Federal Poverty Rate are elgible for STO. These dollars are donated every year by friends that support Catholic education. The application opens January 1 with a deadline of April 15.
Can students who are not Catholic attend IC School?
Yes. Immaculate Conception welcomes people of all faiths to join our school community. We focus on faith formation through teaching Christian values based on the Catholic faith. We promote service projects that promote life long service to others.
